Regional groups represent local in-person meet-ups on a regular base. These can be open meetings in your city or your institute's research group. While the former act as open and public roundtables of STS topics that are starting points for newcomers, the latter are typically involved in distinct representations of STS research and the development of educational material and study programmes. To both, stsing provides a basic representation that makes people and thoughts visible and lies beyond the usual organizational boundaries.
